it is probaby either bondarzewia berkleyi <berkelys polypore> or a meriplius giganteus < black staining polypore>.

does it stain black fairly quickly?
does it smell sweetly of mushroom or smell like liver?

i have consumed young bondarzewia berkeleyi and found them to be delicious, however not many field guides will list it as such. It is best when very young.

black stainers are edible, but not choice because of appearance, and flat flavor profile
The two different mushrooms look similar when young, as they age macrofeatures make it easier to tell the two apart....especially the black staining of meripilus. I see some black staining in picture 3.

That is a young polypore, too young to id. properly. Very few polys are edible, a few have some medicinal qualities, you could make a tea. But I would bet your poly is just another useless bump on a log!
