Help with ID, I am sure it is common, but I am new to this.

    Hey Guys.
I am sure these are some really common mushroom, but I am very new to this and have taken a look at several websites trying to ID them, but am not sure. Any suggestions what they might be, or at least maybe narrow down the type so I can look closer at some? That is a quarter in front of the mushroom, to give some size perspective. They are growing in a clump of about 10 mushrooms.
    Thanks for any help,
    Bob

Its a Stropharia species. If you found it in grass it is probably Stropharia coronilla. It isn't active or edible.
