    Cool any luck in the WVa area?
    Hey Topians-
    First I'd like to just thank each one of you for the knowledge offered up. I love this site (although, not being in a position to grow myself, seeing some of your photos of beautiful harvests makes my mouth water covetously ). I'm a relative beginner, and I've learned a HUGE amount just from reading new posts and the archives. So thanks!
    That said, I was thinking of going on an expedition this weekend. I was thinking of Northern W Va as it's the bit of the Ohio River Valley that's closest to me (DC area). Has anyone had any luck there, or in Southern Pa, recently? Thanks in advance for any responses, and keep up the good work!

    Welcome to Mycotopia! I thought this would help you help in your hunt. http://forums.mycotopia.net/wild-mus...your-area.html (What Psilocybian mushrooms grow in your area?) So, far no luck yet but, I'm sure you'll get an idea of what to look for in certain areas in WV. and etc...

    Psilocybe caerulipes - find from late June to December.
    Psilocybe ovoideocystidiata - find from April to mid June.

    I'm from the MOV and I have great luck with ovoids in the spring and early summer.
    Then the occasionally bluefoot find in the late summer and fall.
