Possibly Active Gyms?

Hey peoples

Anybody have some feedback on these pics? They look like Gyms to me, but they're not growing on wood (@ least visibly)

They're just like the gyms I posted in a thread a week or two ago, only there were found in my neighbors cow field close to a tree.

Hope they're active

A couple more questions....
Are there any poisonous Gym species?
Don't these look like Gyms to you?

Does look like Gymnopilus.

Since they are growing on the ground you need to be careful not to eat any Cortinarius.

I'll have to look into the Cort mushrooms. All the Gym like mushrooms I'v found match up perfectly to those Iv read/studied about with the exceptions that they haven't been growing on (visible) wood....and they are not *unbearibly* bitter

Im thinking they're worth trying

I agree with Alan, they look like gyms but you can never be certain from just looking at pictures. Sporeprints and closeups always help... My guess is they are growing from some burried limb or dead root.
