  | GYM Lutofolius Are Gym Lutofolius (sp?) active? What is a recommended dose?

According to Stamets they are "mildly active". He also says they are easy to grow on wood chips. Alder or Eucalyptus should work well. Do the ones you found bruise bluish green when pinched?

| No, they dont bruise blue or green. Is it absolutely necessary? Thses guys check out in every test iv done. They have a mildly bitter taste, range brown spore print, cluster, evenescent ring, fatty swollen stems, the whole 9 yards. Whats the chances? are there any poisonus species that meet those specs?

Closest poisonous would prolly be the lawn galerina. Closest eatable would prolly be the honey mushroom. There are studies being done in Japan on some Gyms and they are finding other constiuents that are hallucinogenic like the "neurotoxic" oligoisoprenoids. Could account for the different trip they produce.

Thanx Teo I few years ago i gave a professer friend of mine three Gym Luteo that did bruise greenish blue. I later asked him how it went and he said there was no noticable effect. But he was used to tripping hard in the past.

|   !!!!!!!!!!!!HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!They Definitely bruise blue!!!!! I found out that the pins are more likely to bruise, so I went and Checked...and low and behold.....A WINNER. Im so Stoked! I believe that eating edibles that grow in your local area are especially spiritually potent for that person. And now....I'll be seeing yall later

| Allan.... Id give my left nut just to study under someone like you....no shit. I want to become a professional Mycologist, but the college route just isn't me. Im the kind of guy that, given an apprenticeship, will thrive and grow faster than some alien plant <grin> Im good with Intensive work, and id be willing to basically do whatever work the person wanted in exchange for his teaching me. Do you know anyone like this? Im trying to figure out how to get to where I want to go in life, and this would be perfect for me. Theres got to be people out there somewhere that would do this. Any tips?
